About

The Wearable Art Show is a not for profit event where students and designers take to the runway to showcase their individual and unique sense of style and broad spectrum of diverse works.

Participation in the show is free, and we welcome all forms of art and fashion with all proceeds going to a great cause. At the Wearable Art Show, you can expect to be amazed by the unique creations that combine art and fashion at the margins, strutted on the runway.

The first Wearable Art Show, hosted by Ryerson University students Ketzia Sherman and Alysia Myette in March, 2013 raised over $1000.00 for the local St. Alban’s Boys and Girls club, with all proceeds going to their community arts programs for underprivileged inner city youth. After taking place twice in one night, with a sold out attendance of over 160 audience members, over 25 designers, more than 50 models, several volunteers and press including Roger’s Television, a unanimous response encouraged us to host the event again and is set to take place this Fall, 2013.

The Wearable Art Show aims to create a positive and unique atmosphere providing aspiring and established designers a professional platform to showcase their talents for one night only. We invite you to join us and experience a fusion of creativity, fashion, art and style.
