Aspiring designer? Creative thinker? Blogger, Fashion Writer or Social Media Guru? The Wearable Art Show needs you!
Ryerson University’s second Wearable Art Show is set to take place this Fall, 2013 in early November. We aim once again to amaze our audience by providing them with a great spectrum of art and fashion on the runway for one night only. By submitting your original designs and participating in this year’s show, you can gain great exposure, opportunity to network with industry professionals and help grow Toronto’s Art and Fashion community, all for a great cause.
Volunteers who help out with the Wearable Art Show will be rewarded with the ability to add participation in a not for profit charity event to their resume/CV. Any students participating outside the program but needing hours to fulfill work/study or internship hours can also use this opportunity to satisfy these requirements in their programs as well.
Our main aim is to unite art and fashion, to give local artists and designers a creative yet professional platform to showcase their work to the public in an organized event and to expose talent from our students, local designers and artisans to industry professionals and local businesses.
